Hofstede Design

A mondegreen is the misinterpretation of a phrase as a result of near homophony. Jimi Hendrix's song 'Purple Haze' contains arguably the most famous misheard lyric of all time. Ben Jennings.

"Don't fear mistakes: there are none." With a little help from an unusually sympathetic (malfunctioning) printer, I set out to celebrate a jazz great's mantra. Tim Royall.

AGDA Poster Annual 2011

The 2011 AGDA Poster Annual was curated by prominent Australian designer Mark Gowing. The appointment of an esteemed judging panel including prominent local and international designers signalled a shift in the Annual's prestige, and over 500 entries were forthcoming.

We contributed both as individuals and collectively, and were delighted to have our collaborative effort, 'Bonus Stickers Included,' accepted into the Annual. The poster was exhibited at Sydney's Gaffa Gallery, and also appears in a catalogue designed by Mark Gowing. More information here.
